Toyota’s new Avalon is available in a hybrid configuration.
The numerous models available from Japanese manufacturer Toyota guarantee that the company has a vehicle for just about every need in the marketplace. In small cars, they have quite an array on offer, including the small Yaris, multiple versions of the hybrid Prius, the mini-SUV Matrix, and the very popular Corolla. In its bigger cars, Toyota is bringing back the very popular Camry (available in a hybrid format) and an all-new Avalon fullsized sedan (also offered as a hybrid). For driving small families around, let’s not forget the Sienna minivan. Looking at the SUV, CUV, and light truck segments, one can see that Toyota has a variety of choices for buyers, including the great looking Venza (front- or all-wheel drive), the practical Highlander (available in the hybrid configuration), the Canadianmade and totally redesigned RAV4, and the mighty truck-based Sequoia. If you are looking for a real off-roadcapable SUV, consider the FJ Cruiser or the traditional 4Runner SUVs. Many Toyota dealers also offer Scion vehicles, such as the very impressive FR-S sports car, the mini iQ city car, the more traditional tC coupe and xD sedans, and the unique-looking xB mini-CUV. Toyota also sells luxury cars under the Lexus moniker. The Lexus line-up begins with the great-looking CT200h hybrid compact car and continues with a new generation of IS sedans. There is even a convertible version of the former generation of IS. Lexus’ flagship still is the mighty LS, and the popular front-wheel-drive ES has recently been redesigned to be bigger and more powerful, as was the GS. Dealers have a few interesting SUVs and CUVs on their lots, including the popular RX (also available in the hybrid format), the more traditional GX 460, and the impressive LX 570.
