SOUTH PORTLAND — Strike up the bands and lace up the shoes – the first-ever Fun Run Walk ‘n Roll is coming Saturday, June 22, from noon to 4 p.m., at the South Portland High School track.

The benefit walk and run supports musical programs in city schools through the South Portland Musical Boosters. For a $40 registration fee, families can walk the track while students provide live musical performances.

Families will also receive two T-shirts when registering. The individual registration fee is $20, and admission for spectators is $5. A light lunch, snacks and drinks will be on sale.

Registration forms are available at www.southportlandmusicboosters.org. The first 100 to register are eligible to win a gift card from Bull Moose. The rain date is June 23.
