More than 75 guests attended the event, including Gail Kezar, regional representative from the office of U.S. Sen. Angus King.

A three-day open house kicked off the grand opening celebration, which concluded with the ribbon cutting ceremony, catered by local restaurants Scarlet Begonias and Byrnes Irish Pub.
During the ceremony, a $2,000 donation was made to the Brunswick-based Embrace-A-Vet program. Bob Davis, business development and projects specialist at Mechanics Savings Bank, also announced that the bank will be a pacesetter company in the upcoming United Way fundraising campaign.
