TOPSHAM — Internal medicine physician Amy Etzweiler, M.D., recently joined Mid Coast Medical Group-Adult Care Topsham and the active medical staff of Mid Coast Hospital.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Etzweiler join our group,” said Dr. Scott Mills, vice president of Medical Administration and chief medical officer at Mid Coast Hospital. “Her training and practice experience fit nicely as we expand our Topsham practice in internal medicine and embrace the patient-centered medical home model.”

Etzweiler received her medical degree in 1997 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and then completed her residency training at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital system in Philadelphia. Before joining Mid Coast, she worked at Lincoln Medical Partners in Damariscotta.

She is board certified in internal medicine.
