Shere Punjab, a herb and spice store, is now open in Brunswick.

The business, located at 46 Maine St., offers a wide variety of exotic spices and Indian grocery items. It is open every day, except Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In talking about starting the store, Prakash Gyawali, one of the owners, said in an email, “Lately, people are more concerned about healthy food. Indian food and spices are all about health, and (the store) gives the chance to add a little spice and herbs to our busy lives. Brunswick always welcomes new business (and) … this is a unique store for Brunswick.”

 

 

“Some of our products come from India,” he added.
