
He, along with other directors, is charged with helping establish rules and policies relative to AQHA’s various programs and voting on items from the AQHA standing committees. One of the most significant tasks for the AQHA board is its responsibility for adopting all rules and regulations relative to registering American quarter horses.
The AQHA board of directors meets annually during the associa- tion’s convention. The 2013 AQHA Convention was last month in Houston.
