ORONO — The 20h annual State Notary Public Education Conference will be held on Thursday, April 18 at the Wells Conference Center on the University of Maine campus in Orono.
All notaries are encouraged to attend to receive information on state notary laws, procedures and practices. The conference is the state’s largest annual educational event for Maine notaries.
Event highlights include seven educational workshops, vendors, door prizes, networking opportunities and more. Featured speakers include Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap, Deputy Secretary of State Julie Flynn and State Notary Officer Cathy Beaudoin.
The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The registration fee is $65 for members and $75 for non-members. The fee includes the luncheon, refreshment breaks, all applicable workshop material and parking. Seating is limited to 200, so register early.
