According to a news release, Best will oversee all strategic marketing campaigns and sponsorship negotiations for both MEMA and the MEMA Technical Education Center, manage MEMA’s various committees and also be responsible for the planning and execution of all major annual events and conferences.
Best comes to MEMA from the position of public relations and events manager of the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Portland, where she worked to promote the state as a premier destination for travel and business.
