
Grant’s areas of practice now stretch from Waterville to Skowhegan and up to Millinocket. He will also serve the Mid-coast area in both Lincoln and Knox counties.
“McTeague Higbee has been serving the working people of Maine for over 30 years, and I am proud to continue that tradition. Wayne Whitney has been an excellent mentor, and I hope to ably fill his shoes on behalf of injured workers across Maine,” said Grant. “I am particularly excited to work in the Katahdin region. My father grew up in Millinocket and I feel a deep connection to the people in the area.”
Grant has been recognized by his peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star of New England for the last two years. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association. Before law school, he earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University, where he graduated with honors in history.
In state government
Prior to joining McTeague Higbee in 2008, he worked in state government and electoral politics as an aide to state Senate Presidents Beth Edmonds and Beverly Daggett. He currently serves as the chairman of the Maine Democratic Party.
