THE OFFICIAL ribbon-cutting ceremony at Rusty’s Market in Topsham. The new Rusty’s Market located at 38 Middlesex Road opened its doors to the public in late November.
The new convenience store was built at the site of the former Rusty’s store, which had been a Topsham landmark for the past 40 years before making way in July for construction of the new store.
According to an announcement about the opening, “Rusty Rancourt was behind the grill cooking his famous sausage, onions and pepper sub (now known as the ‘Bay Park Bomb’), while visiting with longtime friends, and having his photo taken with local children. Rusty also offered his favorite ‘Rusty Dogs’ to many hungry customers who have been patiently waiting for the store to open.”
