TOPSHAM — Border Trust Company was recently purchased by Bar Harbor Bank and Trust, a community bank with more than a dozen branches from Topsham to Lubec.
Bar Harbor Bank and Trust has made its new home in the former Border Trust location at 2 Main St. in Topsham, according to a news release. The building has a new look and new signs, and is now officially named the Priority Business Center.
Jim Howard, CEO/president of Priority Real Estate Group, the company that owns and manages the business center, took the opportunity to rename the center with the recent bank purchase. The location has served as home for Priority Real Estate Group since the building opened in 2006.
Priority Business Center offers fully furnished professional offices, receptionist services, four executive conference rooms accommodating from two to 20 people, and a wide range of services and amenities.
Located at the Priority Business Center along with Priority Real Estate Group are the following businesses: Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber; Arcadia Health Care; CES Engineering; Bill Gillespie, Attorney at Law; and the newly opened Bar Harbor Bank and Trust.
