WINDHAM — A celebration of the life of late town Councilor Peter Busque, who died Wednesday, will take place tonight at the Windham High School auditorium.

A Planning Board meeting scheduled for tonight was canceled in light of the event, which will be from 7  to 9 p.m. The high school is located at 406 Gray Road in Windham.

Busque, 50, a Greenville native, lived on Little Sebago Lake and was the owner of Windham-based Busque Construction. He was elected to the Town Council in 2009.

Busque, who died of an apparent suicide Wednesday, is survived by a wife and four children.

Donations to a scholarship fund set up for his children can be mailed to the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1015, Windham, ME 04062.
